NEXT STEPs
Visit church
Who is God?
What is my purpose in life?
How do I follow and please God?
These are real questions most of us ask. Coming to church is a great first step to answering these questions. You will be warmly welcomed into a multi-generational community, taught from God's word, and encouraged to deepen your faith.
We meet online and in person at 8:30a and 10:30a each Sunday, under covid guidelines.
Study God’s Word
God’s word - the Bible - is the primary way God speaks to us. And it’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. The plans below are great if your are new to a daily discipline of reading the Bible or have been reading the Bible for many years.
If you want to know more about God and His promises, listening to a sermon would also be a great next step for you.
Find a mentor
Do you want one or two others to come alongside you? To pray with you and for you and to hold you accountable to becoming the person God is making you to be? As we learned in our Leadership Baton series, every believer needs an apostle Paul to encourage them. Contact the church and we would love to connect you with a man or woman of faith!
Baptism

Connect with a group
Making deep long-term relationships with others is a vital aspect of growing in your faith with Jesus Christ. OBC offers a variety of small groups - for women, men, married couples, singles - where we dig into the richness of God's word together and share our lives with one another.
Learn more about Membership
Being a functioning member of a local church is vital to your growth. This step allows you to become a part of a growing body of believers who are together seeking to follow God. We also value membership for the unity, acceptance and accountability it brings into our lives. Our three part membership class discusses OBC's mission, beliefs and core values.
