Volunteer for Faith Family Kitchen

Faith Family Kitchen is a program of the Cape Cod Council of Churches. The Kitchen helps to alleviate food insecurity by serving free, nutritious and delicious dinners to any in need three evenings each week, year round. Through a partnership with Duffy Health Center’s In From the Streets program, meals are delivered to guests who are receiving temporary housing at a hotel.

1 - 2 volunteers are needed at 5:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to pick up prepared dinners from the Kitchen located at Faith Assembly of God Church at 154 Bearse's Way in Hyannis, and transport them to the Hyannis Host Inn, located at 614 Iyannough Rd in Hyannis. All meals will fit into one car, and the total time commitment should be approximately 30-45 minutes. Any level of commitment is appreciated. Sign up to serve just once or for a recurring shift.
