Join us This Christmas Season at OBC
Christmas is right around the corner and we are getting excited for our annual Christmas events! We hope you can join us!
SUNDAY SERVICES
We are excited to invite you to a new sermon series The Great “Therefore”. This series will be led by Pastor Rob, and will explore the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The series will begin in November, and will continue for 4-6 weeks. We will meet at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM each Sunday. In addition, our Christmas Eve services which will be held at 4 PM & 5:30 PM.
ADVENT
This Christmas season, we’re inviting you into something deeper than a busy calendar and to-do list. Starting November 22nd, we’ll be walking through a 4-week Advent devotional series called Anticipating His Arrival.
Each day, you’ll receive a short message with Scripture and a link to that day’s reading. It’s all designed to help you pause, reflect, and reconnect with the story of Jesus.
Here’s what to expect:
Daily Messages: Each morning, you’ll get a quick text with a link to that day’s devotional.
Weekly Themes:
Week 1 - Preparation
Week 2 - Anticipation
Week 3 - Joy
Week 4 - Incarnation
Christmas Eve & Day: Special readings to celebrate Christ’s birth.
Whether the Advent season is new to you or something you’ve always loved, this devotional is a chance to refocus your heart on what really matters: Jesus.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS
Deck the Halls and Sing with Us! You're Invited to a Christmas Carol Sing-Along! Join the OBC Seniors for a festive afternoon of carols and cheer. All ages are welcome to join!
When: Sunday, December 7th at 2 PM
Where: OBC
Light refreshments will be served. Let's spread some holiday joy together!
CHRISTMAS STROLL
The Osterville Stroll will be held on December 12th! Right here at OBC at 6:00PM we hold a Creche Service! People from all over gather around the front steps of the church to sing Christmas carols! Local Clergy from all over town share in reading the story of Jesus’s Birth, while you sip on hot cocoa and munch on some cookies and popcorn! This is a night you don’t want to miss!
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
Our annual Christmas Eve Service will be on December 24th 4:00PM & 5:30PM . We invite you to join us for this special occasion, where we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. During this service, we come together as a community to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, through scripture readings, carols, and prayers. At the end of the service, we light candles as a symbol of the light of Christ shining in the world.
Childcare will be available during both services for children birth - age 4.
We encourage you to join us for this special event at 4:00PM & 5:30PM. We hope to see you there and wish you a blessed and joyful Christmas season!
Help Bring Holiday Joy to Cape Cod Foster Children!
For another year, OBC is proud to partner with the Cape Cod Ambassadors to bring a special Christmas to foster children across the Cape. This year, we are serving an incredible 70 children!
Their mission is to ensure each child receives not just one, but seven thoughtfully chosen gifts, helping to make their holiday truly memorable. Each child will receive one item from each of the following categories: A Stuffed Animal, A Doll (girls) or Remote Car (boys), A Puzzle, A Snow Tube, Wireless Headphones, A Craft Kit , and Legos
We're kicking off the collection by focusing on one category: Stuffed Animals. We've created an Amazon Wish List with 70 items—one for every child we are serving—to ensure this category is fully covered! Will you help us fill this wish list?
